SumoActive – Colour is a wood based, chemically activated powder carbon is especially designed for the decolourisation of sugar, wine and other liquid solutions as well as for decolorizing potable water or waste water.
The decolorizing capacity of an activated carbon is based on the dispersion of its pores. The dispersion is mainly determined by the number of macro pores. SumoActive – Colour has an extraordinarily large number of macro pores. Therefore, its decolorizing capacity is very high.
Dosage: Preliminary laboratory trials need to be conducted to determine the minimum amount of activated carbon needed for efficient removal of colour.
